This course provides a comprehensive overview of Asia’s remarkable growth and transformation over the past 50 years, highlighting key policy lessons from the region’s sustained success. We will explore the pivotal roles of policies, markets, and technology in driving structural transformation, human capital development, trade and investment, infrastructure expansion, macroeconomic stability, poverty alleviation, gender equality, environmental sustainability, development finance, and regional cooperation and integration. Additionally, the course will examine the impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic and broader disaster resilience challenges across Asia.

悪性腫瘍の分子病態を理解し、発がん性物質の関与について学ぶ。悪性腫瘍の治療薬の作用機序と開発状況を知り、社会実装への道程を学ぶ。悪性腫瘍の発症に関わる遺伝子変異を理解し、悪性腫瘍対する宿主の炎症応答との相互作用を知る。悪性腫瘍の薬物療法の現状と課題点を知る。正常細胞ががん細胞へと進化する過程について理解する。抗がん剤や抗体医薬のドラッグデリバリーについて学ぶ。細胞老化の基礎とがん微小環境における老化細胞の機能を理解する。

This seminar aims to discuss the social / historical bases on which a modern legal system might operate in various East Asian societies, and to provide an introduction to some of those problems involving the integration of different legal traditions into a pluralistic yet coherent legal regime. We will focus on the tensions experienced by these societies, involving the importation of what were presented as "universal" values and norms, and the near-universal resistance to these values and norms, such resistance being based on the notions of custom and tradition. While the initial focus will be mainly on the experiences concerning the formation of legal institutions in China and Japan, students will be encouraged to bring in perspectives from other societies as well. The problems discussed will include: the difficulties regarding what exactly can be identified as East Asian legal traditions; how legal regimes were structured through the actions of actors exploiting the plurality of legal traditions; and how the relationship between legal arrangements and the political power-structure played out. Particular attention will also be paid to the issues of colonialism, and the uneasy relationship between Modernisation, Westernisation and Colonisation in these societies. The ability to read source materials written in Chinese and/or Japanese would be of much help, but will not be essential.

(A)アジアを知る、(B)生物資源学の可能性と限界を理解する、(C)本分野で賢明な判断力を養う Learning Outcomes By the end of this course, students will be able to: (1) Analyze bioresources from multiple hierarchical levels, ranging from genes and cells to organisms, ecosystems, and regional systems. (2) Explain the scientific, ecological, and socio-economic roles of bioresources in Asian societies and evaluate their sustainable utilization. (3) Apply interdisciplinary approaches to reinterpret their own research topics from the perspective of bioresource sciences. (4) Evaluate emerging technologies related to bioresources by considering both their potential benefits and associated risks. (5) Communicate scientific ideas and research outcomes effectively in written and oral forms for international academic audiences. (6) Propose scientifically sound and socially responsible strategies for the sustainable development and utilization of bioresources in Asia. 学修到達目標（Learning Outcomes） 本講義を履修した学生は、以下の能力を身につけることができる。 (1) 遺伝子・細胞から個体、生態系、地域システムに至るまで、生物資源を多階層的に分析できる。 (2) アジア社会における生物資源の科学的・生態学的・社会経済的役割を説明し、持続的利用の観点から評価できる。 (3) 生物資源学の視点から自身の研究テーマを再解釈し、学際的に応用できる。 (4) 生物資源に関する新興技術について、その利点とリスクを科学的に評価できる。 (5) 国際的な学術場面において、研究内容を論理的に発信できる。 (6) アジアにおける生物資源の持続的開発・利用に向けた戦略を提案できる。

正常細胞がどのような遺伝子異常によってがん細胞へと形質転換するかを具体的に理解する。また、そのような異常遺伝子がヒトのがんにおいてどのような頻度分布を取るのかも理解する。

成人最大の死因である「がん」がどのような細胞内シグナル伝達機構によって無限の増殖能を獲得するかを学ぶ。特にがん遺伝子、がん抑制遺伝子、異常な細胞周期制御の観点から、がんの成り立ちを理解する。
