Modeling of Concrete Performance
This lecture offers theoretical background and computational modeling on which structural concrete performance is evaluated and concrete quality through its lifetime is examined in both space and time under differing environmental actions. Latest scientific knowledge and engineering simulation of concretes and their performances are presented.

Wind loads have to be taken into account when designing civil engineering structures. This lecture derives the theoretical background of wind loaded structures and gives practical applications for a large variety for structures, such as low rise static structures, buildings, chimneys and cable-supported bridges.

Understand the nature of traffic flow including traffic congestion, traffic accident risk, and influence on general social activities including economy. Traffic engineering measures to alleviate negative impacts to the society should be systematically understood, including highway & street geometric design, traffic flow management and control, and utilization of emerging technologies including Intelligent Transport Systems.
In this course, first, traffic flow fundamentals and queing theory will be provided following the General introduction. Highway capacity & road geometric design and safety, intersection design & control, and Intelligent Transport Systems and its applications are the contents to be studied in this course.
