統合物質科学俯瞰講義Ⅱ
広く産学官にわたってグローバルに活躍するために必要な「俯瞰力」を養成することを目指す。物質科学の各分野について最先端の知識を修得し、自分の専門分野と周辺分野がどのように関連するか、あるいはし得るか、について深く考察するために、第一線で活躍する講師の方々にその分野の最前線を概観していただく。さらに、それらの講義を通して異分野間のコミュニケーションを円滑に進めるための具体的方法論を学ぶ。
This survey course is designed to enable students to develop the broad perspective that is required of global leaders working in and across industry, academia, and government. Students will gain knowledge and insight on advancements in each field of materials science research, given by leading researchers working on the frontline in those fields. This will allow students to consider how peripheral fields are related to their own area of expertise, and to consider the potential for forging bridges between related fields in the future. In addition, students will learn specific methodologies designed to facilitate smooth communication among different disciplines.

【授業の概要】
近年、排外主義をともなう極右ポピュリズムが世界各地で勢いを増しています。米国では第二次トランプ政権が発足し、トランスジェンダーや移民の排斥が政治の争点として前景化しました。ヨーロッパでも、反移民や反多文化主義を掲げる右派勢力が政治の再編を促す規模で台頭しています。日本でも、「日本人ファースト」を掲げる極右政党の参政党が外国人や障害者や「LGBT」排斥の言説を動員して支持を広げ、国政での存在感を強めました。さらに2025年10月には高市政権が誕生し、自民党の極右化も進展しています。こうした状況のなか、SNSではマイノリティの人権を主張する立場が「思想が強い」と片づけられたり「サヨク」と貶められたりする危うい現象が広く見られます。
この授業では、そもそも差別とはなにか、「マジョリティ／マイノリティ」とはいかなる概念であるかを説明したうえで、レイシズム（人種主義）やヘテロセクシズム（異性愛主義）についてレクチャーします。これらの基礎的な知識を踏まえたうえで、日本が近代化の過程で「人種」や「民族」といった言説をどのように活用してきたか、それが家父長制と結びついて大日本帝国の建設や植民地主義といったプロジェクトにいかなる貢献をもたらしたか、さらにはこれらの歴史が現代の東アジアにどのような影響を及ぼしているかを批判的に考察します。
講義では東アジアの近現代史、フェミニズム、反レイシズム理論を扱いますが、これらに関する基礎的な知識がなくても理解できるよう授業を設計します。不安や疑問があれば初回のガイダンスで確認してください。なお、履修に際しては「履修上の注意」の項目をよく読むこと。
【授業の目標】
フェミニズムや反レイシズム理論について基礎的な知識を習得すること、東アジアの帝国主義／植民地主義の歴史を学ぶこと。そのうえで脱帝国主義／植民地主義のプロジェクトへの参与を促します。

Growing concern for the protection of the environment and for the development of more sustainable ecological systems have led policymakers and scholars to consider ways in which gender, class, and race mediate human environment interactions. The multi-disciplinary course examines conceptual issues related to ecological systems, environmental policy, gender studies, and justice and equity concerns. It critically examines the complex intersections of environmental actors, agencies, and institutions in the global arena through a focus on contested gender power relations.

We learn leadership with a combination of basic principles, self reflection, feedback giving and receiving from others....). Warmest welcome to anybody who wants to unleash potential and be an exemplary leader in your profession as well as in your own life. The course is based on discussion, role plays and presentations. Students taking this course for credits must attend all lectures, participate actively in classroom discussion, present a draft term paper on topics related to the course, and submit the final version of the term paper.

韓国のセクシュアル・マイノリティ運動とその社会的変革
社会的マイノリティに対する人権問題は、世界各国が抱える重要な社会課題の一つである。本講義では、その中でも特に韓国におけるセクシュアル・マイノリティ運動に焦点を当て、運動の展開とそれがもたらした社会的変革について考察する。韓国では、セクシュアル・マイノリティに対する差別が根強く残る中、多様な当事者が声を上げ、社会に変革を求めてきた。本講義では、韓国のセクシュアル・マイノリティの権利運動がどのように発展し、国家の法制度や社会文化に影響を与えてきたのかを分析するとともに、当事者性の変遷や運動内部の葛藤、「あいまいな当事者性」戦略といった視点から、運動の多層的な構造を検討する。さらに、運動の担い手、政策決定プロセス、メディア表象、宗教的・保守的価値観との対立といった要素を取り上げ、韓国のセクシュアル・マイノリティ運動が持つ社会的意義を探る。また、日本を含む他国の動向とも比較しながら、社会運動のダイナミクスとその変革の可能性について学ぶことを目指す。

We will cover the brief history of the underrepresentation of minorities and explore research articles on why and how women and other minorities have been excluded from STEM fields. We will primarily discuss how representation and the sense of belonging are important for diversity in the sciences to flourish. Students will be expected to read scientific articles, discuss them in class, and apply those concepts to examine their own social environments.
