全学自由研究ゼミナール (理系のための法学入門（駒場版）) (理系のための法学入門（駒場版）)
【本郷で、学部後期課程・大学院の学生を対象として「理系のための法学入門」という下記のような授業を開講するため、それとほぼ同じ内容の授業を、学部前期課程の学生にも（別のコマに、駒場で）提供しようとするものです。】
理系の皆さんが研究成果を社会実装するときには、法に関する相場観やリテラシーが必要となります。そうした相場観やリテラシーをつかんでいただこうとする講義です。
……というのが、この講義の最も格好良い説明ですが、「理系のための」という修飾には、法について特に何もご存じない方々のための、という意味合いも含まれています。全体の概要、つかみ方、調べ方、などを、基本から講義します。
したがって、文系、そして、法学部・法学政治学研究科の学生であっても、道に迷っている場合や、学び直しをしようという場合など、履修してもらって構いません。
具体的には、
▼自動運転、AIと著作権、iPhoneのアプリ供給ルートの開放、など、理系の学生にとっても関心があるのではないかと思われる話題を導入に使い、その背景にある、民法、著作権法、競争法、などについて、制度の概要や調べ方を説明します。（取り扱う話題や法分野は、変更の可能性があります。）
▼また、並行して、担当教員の専門である競争法の分野での外国当局のプレスリリースなどを定期的に読み、英語の法的表現や国際的な動きを垣間見ます。
▼ゲスト講演も実施する予定です。単に聴講するだけでなく、内容に関する予習もします。欧州におけるロビイング、日本での政策立案、などについて、お話を伺う方向で検討・準備しています。詳しくは4月にお知らせします。
具体的な進め方や成績評価方法は、履修者の人数が3人か40人かによって大きく変わります。期末試験は行いません。日頃からリアクションを寄せてもらい、セメスター終盤に2000字程度の長くない成果エッセイを書いてもらうことになるかと、2024年1月のシラバス執筆時点では考えていますが、詳しくは、様子を見て、4月中にはお知らせします。

The course provides opportunities for students to interact with expert clients who present them with a problem or challenge that needs to be addressed and to practice working effectively in a multidisciplinary team. Introduction to Media Design
Media Design is an exciting and relatively new discipline within the wider context of design. In it researchers and practitioners are interested in exploring new ways to use and deploy digital media technologies to have function, communicate information or present artwork. Designers from a Media Design background often work on or with web design, e-books, data-bases, big data visualisation, smartphone applications, film, animations, digital imaging, art installations, technology products and many other artefacts and systems. Such designers create their ideas utilising digital or electronic formats and the intention is often that the work is created from scratch to be accessed on a digital platform. This course is a first step introduction to Media Design, it is not intended to be a comprehensive class but rather a short and intense introduction to some processes and skills and you may wish to continue your exploration of this discipline in other classes or studies. This is not a heavy lecture based course but rather a seminar, discussion, and hands-on practical class where you will do a lot of learning by doing. You will be working in teams a lot and each week there will be a subject to discuss, learn and try.

情報メディア伝達論
デジタル化の進展やインターネットの普及によって、絵画、イラスト、写真といった「イメージ」の制作・流通・消費は身近で日常的なものとなった一方、著作権・肖像権侵害等をはじめとするトラブルも頻繁に生じている。さらに近年の画像生成AIの発展により、新たな法的問題も提示されている。この講義では、「イメージ」と法をめぐり生じた・現在進行形で生じている様々な問題について、関連する法律等の基礎的な知識を獲得し、履修者自身の研究分野・興味関心とも紐付けながら、多角的に検討する能力を培うことを目標とする。
法学を専門としない履修者も、興味のある問題についてアンテナを張り、考えるきっかけを作る一助として授業を活用できるように、身近な事例や、話題となった事例を積極的に取り上げて授業を進める予定である。

農林水産物・食品の高付加価値化を図るためには、植物の新品種、技術開発の成果、デザイン（意匠）、ネーミング（商標）、現場の技術やノウハウ、地域ブランドや食文化といった知的財産を戦略的に生み出し、それを経済的価値につなげるとともに、模倣品・海賊版からこれらを守ることが重要である。本講義では、農林水産・食品分野の知的財産を中心に国際的な動向を踏まえながら、その創出・保護・活用に向けた取組みや対策などを解説し、理解を深めることを目的とする。

In this course, students will apply a critical lens to representations of gender and identity in contemporary media. By focusing on popular representations in film, short-form videos, writing and art from across the global spectrum, we will gain a deeper understanding of identities as both culturally specific and influenced by international media.
The course provides a snapshot of the issues around the media’s portrayal of women and girls—from effects on body image and self-identity to ramifications in sports and politics. It looks at the economic interests behind the objectification and eroticization of females by media as well as efforts to counter negative stereotyping. We will also examine studies that explore the ways in which media both limit and empower women and girls in society.
