グローバル教養科目（The Gender Data Gap: exploring the lack of data about women and girls’ experience in life）
This course explores the persistent challenge of gender-based data disparities and their far-reaching consequences for society. Across various domains, from health and education to economic participation and political representation, the lack of gender-disaggregated data hinders our ability to understand and address the unique needs and experiences of women, girls, and gender-diverse individuals. Throughout the course, students will engage in discussions, readings, and a hands-on project that involves analyzing publicly available gender-segregated data. This will allow them to develop a deep understanding of the gender data gap and its implications, as well as practical skills in data analysis, visualization, and policy advocacy. This class will be taught in English and students will be expected to speak in English and complete assignments in English.

身体生命科学
身体の形状や機能は生涯を通じて変化を続けるが、こうした変化は全て遺伝的に決定されているわけではなく、相当に環境の影響を受けている。生活習慣を少し変えただけで、身体に大きな変化が生じることもある。現代社会においては、身体を適切に管理する術を身につけること、あるいは適切に管理された身体それ自体がひとつの教養と言える。
そこで本講では、前半は筋（骨格筋）、後半は脂肪（体脂肪）に焦点を当てながら、身体づくりに関する生命科学的な知見の紹介および考察を行う。授業の到達目標は、常に自らの存在とともにある身体との上手な付き合い方について本質から理解し、他者に説明できること、また身につけた知識を日々の生活に役立てられるようになることである。

地球のプレート境界を特徴づけるのが変動帯である。本講義では、地球物理学的にみた変動帯の様々なスケールでの構造・変動過程（前半）と地形・地質学的観測に基づく現在の変動帯の実態（後半）とについて学ぶ。
Mobile belt is located along the plate boundary on the earth. Multi-scale tectonics of plate-margins based on geophysics and modern short-term processes of the tectonic belts based on geology and geomorphology are learned in this series of lectures.

この講義シリーズでは、将来、医学・生命科学へ量子計算を応用する事を目的に、量子計算機の計算原理、プログラミング、などを学ぶ。また、医学・生命科学における計算についても、医学・生命科学を研究している研究者からの問題提示をして貰うことにより、量子計算によってどのような課題の解決が期待されているかを学ぶことができる。
In this lecture series, students will learn about the principles of quantum computation, programming, and other aspects of quantum computers, with the aim of applying quantum computation to medical and life sciences in the future. In addition, by having researchers working in the medical and life sciences present problems about computation in the medical and life sciences, students can learn what kind of problems are expected to be solved by quantum computation.

文理融合ゼミナール（身体と芸術）
爛熟期を迎えた19世紀末フランスのサロン、とりわけ詩人マラルメの「火曜会」を範とする本ゼミは、文部科学副大臣も務めた東京大学公共政策大学院教授の鈴木寛（すずかん）主催のもと、『学藝饗宴』と題して学術と藝術を綜合する教養教育を目指すものである。
「すずかんゼミ」として四半世紀に亘り開講されてきた歴史を持ち、2017年度より新たに本題にて開講されている本ゼミの主な授業内容は、ゼミ生同士の対話および各界の第一線で活躍するゲストを講師に招き行うセッションである。過去にお招きした講師の方々については、是非下記のX（旧Twitter）ページにて確認してほしい。
本ゼミは、特定の問題についての答えを与えるものではない。むしろ、関心のある領域をそれぞれが見出し、頭から離れなくなるような問いを得ることを目的とする。問いに際して、論理や経験から答えを導こうとするだけではなく、個々人が自らの真善美を追求し、感性を磨きあげることに重きをおく。分からないものの分からなさに好奇心を抱き自らの血肉として結実させようと試みる学生を歓迎する。
※本講義は集中講義形式の授業であるが、履修者・OB/OG・オムニバス講師等が主体的に開催する毎週のサブゼミが火曜日19～21時に行われる。集中講義も基本的に同時間帯である。このサブゼミに毎回参加できることが履修に際しての前提条件となる。
