近年航空宇宙分野を中心として適用が進む先進複合材料に関する講義を行う。複合材料に用いられる繊維や樹脂などの素材から始まり、成形方法や適用例を学ぶことで全体像を理解したのちに、複合材料の力学について学習する。異方性弾性体の力学をもとに、単層板の変形・強度に関する知識を深めたあと、単層板を積層した実用的な板の挙動について講義を行う。また、近年注目される生物を模倣した複合材料についても概要を学ぶ。
This course covers advanced composite materials, whose applications have been expanding in recent years, particularly in the aerospace sector. Students will begin by learning about the raw materials used in composites, such as fibers and resins, and gain an overall understanding of the field by studying manufacturing methods and application examples. Following this, the course will cover the mechanics of composite materials. Based on the mechanics of anisotropic elastic materials, students will deepen their understanding of the deformation and strength of single ply, followed by lectures on the behavior of composite plates formed by laminating these single plies. Additionally, students will gain an overview of biomimetic composite materials, which have garnered significant attention in recent years.
