工学では、何かに役に立つものを設計してもらいたい。この時、設計解の実現を制限する最大の要因は加工技術である。エンジニアにとって、適当な価格で依頼できる加工技術の知識は、今後の設計に不可欠である。本講義では、工業製品ができるまでのプロセスとその加工原理を学ぶ。
