プロセス設計演習

The aim of this lecture is to experience «design» of chemical processes using a process simulator named ASPEN Plus®. The program includes modeling, simulation and optimization of chemical processes. Through the practice, you will learn how changes of the process, e.g., reactor volume, can lead to the change of the overall system, e.g., economic performance.

授業の方法
対面による演習形式で行う。演習に必要なPCやソフトウェアを貸し出す。 The course is conducted in a face-to-face, exercise-based format. PCs and software necessary for the exercises will be provided.
成績評価方法
Grades will be calculated according to two reports (intermediate and final) as well as individual engagement. Please bring an USB memory stick for saving simulation files. Reports are to be submitted electronically via ITC-LMS.
履修上の注意
レポート課題を除き、おおよそ授業中に完結するため、特段の予習、復習は必要としない。 Except for the report assignment, the course is mostly completed during class time, so no special preparation or review is required.
