The aim of the lecture is to learn modeling and simulation as the core technology of Process Systems Engineering (PSE). Three modules of (I) steady-state flowsheeting, (II) unit operation design and operation, and (III) dynamic process design and control cover the aspects of process design, operation, and control. The lecture combines individual knowledge of chemical engineering as a set of tools to analyze and synthesize process systems for chemical production and beyond.
