環境エネルギー問題は21世紀に人類が豊かに生存していく上での最重要な課題の一つである。本講義では、まずエネルギーと現代社会との関係を明らかにし、そして、これらの問題を解決するためのエネルギー利用技術、エネルギーの政策と経済学、エネルギー長期計画の策定方法を学び，持続可能なエネルギーシステムを実現するための政策と技術戦略を考える。
