グローバル教養科目(Collage and Composition)

In this course, we will argue that composition IS collage. We will see composition as an art and learn how to make collage an option, a strategy, in composition. I, a compositionist that has been teaching about collage in composition for years, am offering this course to learn more about it. I welcome you and look forward to working with you and learning with you, if you are interested in thinking about writing, language, communication from a new angle.
At the end of the semester, I hope you will be able to use collage to play, take risks, and experiment with language for its own sake; to reconsider the relationship between alphabetic text and multimodal composition; and to acquire strategies for both composing knowledge and unpacking composed knowledge.
