授業の方法
This course will involve a combination of readings, in-class activities focusing on writing and group discussion, lectures, and fieldtrips to local monuments and museums. NOTES: 1-Fieldtrips are assigned as homework so students can conduct them at their own chosen time. 2- Writing activities and small group work will help all students participate in class discussions regardless of their English speaking abilities. Using shared Google docs in class will also help students share their thoughts even when they are not confident enough to speak up in a large group. 3-Homework reading will involve various options to choose from according to one's English reading fluency. In case of longer/more complex readings, I may assing reading partners so that all students are able to understand the assigned content in all its depth. Moreover, Japanese speakers are also able to combine English reading materials with Japanese materials and provide an English summary for non-Japanese speakers.
