The Attention Economy: Social & Political Perspectives

This course will explore attention as a social, cultural, and political phenomenon and begin developing ways to talk about, understand, cultivate, and experience attention at an individual and collective level. This intensive course will be run like a workshop. Students will actively participate in short readings and reflective writing, group discussions, projects, and presentations to help curate and develop activities for the liberation of human attention. Students of all confidence levels in using English are welcome.
