全学自由研究ゼミナール (Design thinking in Public Health)
Design thinking in Public Health
The rapid development of information technologies and medicines are not benefiting everyone equally living in our society. People from socially marginalized groups are more often excluded or left behind. Human-centered designs – or design thinking - are usually more effective in engaging end-user communities than top-down mandates. Design thinking encourages us to empathize with the end-users, understand their needs and aspirations, and co-create solutions that truly address their unique circumstances. This course will introduce you to the theoretical foundation of design thinking in health, step-by-step guidance to apply design thinking strategies in your own work, and real-world case studies in global health settings.
