私から、毎回の授業後、翌週以降の授業用の教材を供給。熟読を期待する。 それを使って、私から解説、講義をし、その後に、参加学生からの質疑に答え、討論をする。これにより、関連の知識を深め、思考の訓練を行う。 私が、数冊の書物を指定し、参加学生の課題図書とする。授業の中で、学生は自らの課題図書の概要を発表し、他の学生達とその内容に関連して、議論を行う。

議論や質疑への参加を通じたクラスへの貢献度と、期末に実施する試験の結果を総合的に評価して評点する。
