Case Study (Public-Private Partnerships)

A capstone project course with the Asian Development Bank (ADB), GR Japan, and Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) as the clients. This syllabus is preliminary and will be updated with the details in early April. Please check with ITC-LMS for more information and updates before the start of the S1S2 semester.
This course gives students an opportunity to produce a consulting report for the client in the field of public services provision—such as economic, social, and institutional infrastructures—essential to the smooth functioning of society and people’s well-being. It aims to deepen students’ understanding of Public-Private Partnerships (PPPs) as a public service provision framework.

Students must work in teams under the instructor’s guidance as a practical training course with an active learning approach. The client reviews and receives the deliverables as if the students run a real-world consultancy project. The course also serves as hands-on training for professional writing and communication.

The external clients are the Asian Development Bank’s Office of Public-Private Partnership, GR Japan, and Japan International Cooperation Agency’s Private Sector Partnership and Finance Department.
