Case Study (Leadership and management at International Financial Institutions)
This seminar-format course is designed to acquire skill to create and lead an international organisation. The course is based on discussion, role plays and presentations. Students taking this course for credits must attend all lectures, participate actively in classroom discussion, present a draft term paper on topics related to the course, and submit the final version of the term paper.

授業の方法
Each class consists of a lecture and discussion on the weekly topic. The course plan is structured with cases and notes developed by Prof. Kawai. The course uses case studies and role plays and focuses on leadership, management and governance issues. Students are required to read notes and cases before the class and participate actively in the classroom discussion. Case studies prepared by Professor Kawai would be discussed during the course. Students are to write a term paper. Students have an opportunity to make a presentation of their idea to the class so that they can incorporate comments from others into their term paper.
成績評価方法
50% - class attendance and contribution to class discussion
 50% - production of a term paper (individual)

履修上の注意
Both MPP/IP and non-MPP/IP students are welcome. Students who are interested in working for and leading an international organisation/group are encouraged to register.
