"Hack the Future: Provoke, Imagine, Impact"
Overview
Look around you. There are probably things in your daily life that make you think, "Why does this still work this way?"—or, "I wish things looked different." The world isn't going to change by itself. This seminar is about developing the confidence to see what needs to change, design a better version, and make it happen.
Now, generative AI can answer almost anything you throw at it—and what felt impossible a few months ago keeps becoming possible faster than anyone expected. That raises a genuinely hard question: what's left for us to do? One answer: the things that still take a human. Getting to the heart of the problem. Designing a smarter fix. Bringing the right people on board. That takes both logic and gut instinct—and the only way to build either is by doing the work by yourself.
That's what this seminar is built around. You'll tackle problems you've never thought about before, look at them from angles you haven't tried, and work your way to answers that are genuinely your own. You'll get sharp feedback along the way, and finish by pitching your ideas directly to professionals with real-business experience.
Accenture works with organizations all over the world to solve complex, high-stakes problems—and we know firsthand what it takes to drive meaningful change. In this seminar, Accenture consultants will guide you through the process—sharing frameworks, offering feedback at key moments, and helping you find your own path from problem to solution to pitch. No prior experience required. Just bring your curiosity—and your appetite to hack.
Expected outcomes
-From the lectures on various themes, understand the situations of the “companies” that you may interact daily. Learn new techniques to investigate the situation.
-Deepen your thinking through discussion with your teammates.
-Get trained to define your own “guiding questions” and find answers for each.
Examples of the “guiding questions”:
•How can I reduce the waiting time at a store I frequently visit?
•How can I encourage people who don’t usually go to the movies to want to visit theaters regularly?
•How can I make makeup more enjoyable and accessible for men?
•How can I express our reactions in Zoom meetings in a way that feels as natural as face-to-face conversations?
•How can I make crowded train commutes more enjoyable?
•How can I make the experience of waiting for trains at Komaba-Todaimae Station more comfortable, without reducing the number of users?
-Learn techniques to tell a convincing story to gain understanding from the audience.
-Understand skills and approaches required to accomplish the task when working as a team with diversity.
