Principles of Microeconomics
Course Objectives. The purpose of this class is for those who have not studied economics to acquire basic knowledge of microeconomics.

Overview. This course covers the introductory microeconomics to students who are not majoring in Economics. It provides key concepts, economic ideas, and a framework for learning about microeconomics. The course places primary emphasis on the role of market, and then analyzes the role of government in the market.

履修上の注意
(i)This class is for beginners in microeconomics. No knowledge of economics is required. Students who have studied microeconomics in their undergraduate years should avoid taking this class, as there is nothing to learn from it; (ii)Students who have earned credit for "Microeconomics for Public Policy" at GraSPP can not register for this course. Contact the instructor if students have special circumstances; (iii)The prerequisite mathematical knowledge is the four arithmetic operations and the calculation of the area of polygons.
