Each session consists of introducing key expressions and conversation practice. During the introduction of key expressions, students receive explicit explanations of the vocabulary and expressions necessary for the conversations in that unit, and understand how these are used in actual conversation through listening practice. In conversation practice, students engage in role-plays using the key expressions they have learnt, create their own conversations, and present them to the class. After each session, task assignments (e.g. listening comprehension, consolidating key expressions) will be given. A quiz will be given in every class meeting to increase the vocabulary needed for everyday conversation and to consolidate the expressions learned in the previous lesson.
