英語中級（クラス指定ターム型）

The readings and videos used in the class will cover topics such as: - the relationship between mind and brain - cognitive psychology - neuroscience - the evolution of the brain and cognition - the brain and language - decision making - the evolution of the brain - artificial intelligence (the exact order and contents will be determined based on the interests and abilities of the students in the class) In addition, the instructor will be available before and after class for questions/discussion. *All classes will be held in person on campus.

We will read various newspaper and magazine articles, and watch videos covering topics related to the field of cognitive science (most readings and videos will be done as homework assignments, although we will also watch some videos in class). We will discuss the readings and videos in class. In addition, students will give group and individual presentations related to the topics discussed in class.

You will need to watch some videos outside of class. Full attendance and active participation in class are expected of all students. Class will be conducted in English.
