Introduction to Biology
This course is designed to provide students with the essentials of biology. Biology = Science of Life. What are we? What is Life? What do living things have in common? What makes us, us?
Non-native English speakers are welcome. Consider taking this course if you want to learn Biology in English and interact with English speakers.

授業の方法
Lecture and in-class activities. Six sessions will be held on-demand, and seven sessions will be held in-person.
成績評価方法
Two presentation reports (60%), participation (20%), and Exams (20%). Students give presentations in class twice.
The participation score includes the score of short quizzes given at the beginning of each session. In addition, students are asked to submit a short reaction paper after each session. This will be counted as part of the participation score.
