Introduction to Information Technology

This course is designed to help each st/udent who has no or little technical background to acquire basic knowledge, skills, and self-confidence which are necessary to live as a responsible citizen in this information age and to have a foundation for better understand of problems in modern Asian societies that are increasingly dependent on information and communication technologies.
Lectures will be accompanied by hands-on sessions.

履修上の注意

This course is provided in principle for the ITASIA program's students at the GSII. Due to the large number of ITASIA students, other students cannot be accepted this year. For those enrolled in the ITASIA Master's program, this course is one of the required courses. Each participant is required to bring a Wi-Fi ready PC to the classroom.
