授業計画
Details will be provided on the first day of class (April 6). Make sure to attend the first session. The class will be offered online via zoom (see below for access code). We will be reading one or two academic article(s) a week on a relevant topic for discussion.
授業の方法
This is a discussion based class. Students must finish the assigned readings in advance and come prepared to engage in discussions. Everyone must come prepared to ask questions and offer their insight. The amount of reading per week is limited and not very demanding--this is deliberately done so to encourage students' to carefully reflect on the reading materials and be fully prepared for active discussions. The class will be conducted online but depending on the coronavirus situation, we may try to meet once or twice to go on a field trip. If possible at all, we may be able to plan a trip to Hokkaido (this will NOT be a requirement).
成績評価方法
Attendance and participation. Final paper.
教科書
Will be assigned later.
参考書
