International Conference Presentation
授業の目標は国際コンファレンスで学術発表に必要なスキルを習得することです。口頭発表に必要な英語力だけではなく、学会用のアブストラクトやプレゼンテーションのスライドを作成し、効果的に利用する方法を教えます。授業の最終課題として、自分の研究について英語発表を行ってもらいます。
この授業は2026年度の「日韓台シンポジウム」と連携しています。今年のシンポジウムは秋に東京大学で開催する予定です。シンポジウムの発表者は5月から募集が始まり、募集要項は別途公表されます。
This course focuses on the skills required in order to give convincing presentations at academic conferences. Besides public speaking skills, it also includes how to write conference abstracts and how to design slides or posters to accompany a conference presentation. As a final project, students will be required to actually deliver a presentation on their research.
This course is linked to the 2026 “SNU-UTokyo-NCCU Symposium” which will take place this autumn at the University of Tokyo. Recruitment of presenters at this symposium will begin in May. Please refer to announcements to be published separately.

授業計画
授業の主なテーマは「学会用のアブストラクトの執筆」、「スライド・ポスターの作成」と「口頭発表」になります。理論や文法よりも、コミュニケーションスキルの応用が授業内容の中心になります。
Classes will focus on the main themes of “writing conference abstracts”, “creating slides/posters”, and “oral presentations”. The emphasis will be on practical application of communication skills rather than on theory or grammar.
