医学概論
（Introduction to Medicine）
近年の基礎医学のめざましい進展により、現代医療も著しい変貌を遂げつつある。本講義においては、メディカルサイエンスの研究に取り組むnon-M.D.の学生を対象にして、先端医療の導入とその遂行、すなわち探索型臨床研究(Translational Research) の推進を使命とする東京大学医科学研究所附属病院のスタッフにより医学概論をわかりやすく解説するとともに、実際の症例や看護上の視点も交えながら、最先端の探索型臨床研究についての新たな視座を提供することを目的とする。AＡ2タームに開講される基礎演習I(病院実習）へのイントロダクションとしての性格も持つ。
Because of remarkable progress in recent basic medicine, the modern medicine is also accomplishing a remarkable change.In this lecture, we aim for introducing outline of medicine and offering a new standpoint to translational research with practical cases and nursing viewpoints. The lecturers are the staff of Research Hospital, the Institute of Medical Sciences, the University of Tokyo, which has the great mission of introduction for basic research into clinical studies, that is, translational research. This course is also an introduction to Fundamental Excercise I.

授業の方法
この授業は2日間にわたる7つの講義から構成される。東京大学医科学研究所附属病院で実際の医療を担っている内科、外科、薬剤部、看護部、栄養管理室、医療安全管理部のスタッフが講義にあたる。
This class is comprised of 7 lectures for 2 days. Staffs of Departments of Internal Medicine, Surgery, Pharmacy, Nursing, Nutritional Management, and Clinical Trial Safety Management will give lectures.
成績評価方法
集中講義終了後のレポート課題提出と出欠状況により成績を評価する。講義出席は必須である。期末試験は行わない。
We estimate results by submission of subject reports and attendance records after the intensive lectures. The term-end examination will not be conducted.
