海洋環境モデリング

Marine Environmental Modelling
It is said that human activity causes environmental problems and endangers our sustainability. To harmonize man-made objects with nature, we need to gain deep insight into the natural environment. Computational fluid dynamics (CFD) is a powerful tool for understanding the mechanisms of environmental problems. Here, we need numerical models to describe various physics. In this course, you will learn the basics of CFD programming in exercises, following the introduction of the fundamentals of CFD and advanced applications of fluid modelling. Lectures will be given in English.
