気候変動ガバナンス

Climate Change Governance
The aim of this course is to develop a comprehensive understanding of global governance to respond to climate change primarily by reading official documents related to multilateral agreements. To that end, the course first examines the history of international efforts to combat climate change. It then has participants read and discuss the major international agreements on climate change—the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC), the Kyoto Protocol, and the Paris Agreement. We will also look at some of the latest COP decisions. The course next turns to the increasingly important role of non-state actors. Participants read and discuss several key documents related to business sector, including the TCFD report.
