Coastal Marine Science
沿岸域の海洋循環や、様々な海洋物質の循環、温暖化や酸性化、それらの変化に伴う沿岸海洋生物や沿岸生態系の応答、古環境の復元などについて学ぶ。
Students will study coastal ocean circulation, the circulation of various marine substances, global warming and ocean acidification, the responses of coastal marine organisms and ecosystems to these changes, and the reconstruction of paleoenvironmental conditions.

岩手県大槌町で開講している海洋環境臨海実習と相補的な関係にある。同実習では触れなかった内容を掘り下げて解説する。同実習を未受講の者が受講しても良い。
開講場所の詳細は、10月下旬に受講者宛てに通知する。
This course complements the Practice in Marine Studies course offered in Otsuchi Town, Iwate Prefecture. It provides an in-depth explanation of topics not covered in that fieldwork course. Students who have not taken the fieldwork course are also welcome to enroll.
Details regarding the location and dates of the course will be sent to enrolled students in late October or later.
