Geosphere Change
将来にわたって持続可能な人間社会を創るため,地圏の成り立ちとその変動を理解することを目的とする./The geosphere is the domain of human activity and is important as a place for living and for securing biological, mineral, and fuel resources. The purpose of this course is to understand the origin of the geosphere and its changes in order to create a sustainable human society in the future.

講義資料は UTOL もしくは印刷物を講義中に配布する./Lectures will be given in Japanese. Lecture materials will be distributed in UTOL or printed materials during the lecture. 英語で講義を受けたい者は,陸域自然環境論と海洋自然環境論を受講するように./Students who wish to take lectures in English are required to take the courses of "Terrestrial Natural Environment" and "Ocean Natural Environment".
事後学習では講義内容について履修者間で検討し理解を深めることも有効である./It is recommended that students study outside of the time allotted for each session to increase the effectiveness of their learning. Students should study in advance using the lecture materials and reflect on the lecture based on the guidance of the instructor. It is also effective to deepen the understanding of the lecture content by discussing it among students in the post-lecture study.
景観形成論・環境政策論で扱う諸問題についての背景の理解を助ける./ The formation of the geosphere and its evolution will be explained from geographical and geological aspects. Students will deepen their understanding of the Earth's general structure and the various landforms, geology, and climate of the major areas of human activity. The course will explain the non-biological environment of the Earth's surface layer in parallel with environmental chemistry and atmospheric oceanography, in contrast to the biological environment studied in terrestrial ecology, environmental adaptation, and aquatic ecology. To help students understand the background of the various issues covered in Landscape Formation and Environmental Policy.
