日本語での講義を行う．講義資料は UTOL もしくは印刷物を講義中に配布する．／Lectures will be given in Japanese. Lecture materials will be distributed in UTOL or printed materials during the lecture. 英語で講義を受けたい者は，陸域自然環境論と海洋自然環境論を受講するように．／Students who wish to take lectures in English are required to take the courses of "Terrestrial Natural Environment" and "Ocean Natural Environment".

出席確認と最終回に筆記試験を行う．

学習効果を上げるため各回に時間外学習を行うことが望ましい．教員の指導に基づき，講義資料を用いた事前学習や振り返り学習を行うこと．事後学習では講義内容について履修者間で検討し理解を深めることも有効である．／It is recommended that students study outside of the time allotted for each session to increase the effectiveness of their learning. Students should study in advance using the lecture materials and reflect on the lecture based on the guidance of the instructor. It is also effective to deepen the understanding of the lecture content by discussing it among students in the post-lecture study.
