In-person: In-person lectures will be held in Room 2D8, Kiban Building, UTokyo Kashiwa Campus. Students outside the Department of Advanced Energy who have a valid reason for being unable to attend lectures at the Kashiwa Campus may apply for permission to attend online. Students who wish to attend online must submit the designated form (https://forms.gle/*****) by the specified deadline (17:00, Oct. 9th, 2026). Only students whose applications have been approved may attend the lectures online. Applications submitted after the deadline will not be accepted. Requests to switch from in-person to online attendance due to urgent or last-minute circumstances will also not be accepted. Online: Some lectures may be conducted online for all students due to circumstances on the instructor's side. Such lectures will be announced in advance.

Reports: students are required to submit a report on a small topic assigned in each lecture. Grades will be based on the total of 10 reports and attendance (Reports submitted after the due date will not be included in the grade for any reason).

Students are expected to have a basic knowledge of mathematics and physics at approximately the second-year undergraduate level. In-person lectures will be held at the Kashiwa Campus.
