In this module, we will focus on speaking, reading, writing and listening to Scientific English using diverse up-to-date material such as TED talks, JOVE and scientific literature. This class will be held entirely in English.

<A1・A2ターム開講>
科学者（化学者）にとって研究成果の発表や外国の研究者との意思疎通には実用レベルの英語能力が必須であるが、小学校でのローマ字教育や日常会話で英語的発音を用いると違和感が伴うことなどで、効率よく英語的発音を学習できないのが現状である。ここでは日本人が間違え易い英語発音などを矯正し、英語能力の向上を目指す。
For scientists (chemists), English proficiency at a practical level is essential for presenting research results and communicating with foreign researchers. However, the current situation is that scientists are unable to learn English pronunciation efficiently due to the Roman alphabet education in elementary schools and the discomfort associated with using English pronunciation in daily conversation. The aim of this project is to improve English proficiency by correcting the English pronunciation that Japanese people tend to make mistakes.
