This course will be conducted in English. Students are expected to read the assignment papers prior to each lecture and workshop and understand contexts and contents, then prepare for discussions in class. Some of the classes are only designed for U-Tokyo students while there are several classes the students will participate in and audit classes offered in Autumn semesters of partner universities.
By interacting with local students and faculty members at Univ SFC and UC-Berkeley, students are expected to become non- hesitant to use their global health topic knowledge and skills to strengthen understanding Global Health thematic areas covered ruing the course.
Throughout the course period, experienced teachers from U-Tokyo will provide mentoring and coaching support and give advice on study methods according to their level.
