Topics in Veterinary Biomedical Science
博士課程2年時に基礎獣医学および動物科学の研究やトピックスを集中講義形式で履修する。基礎獣医学・動物科学分野における最先端の研究成果やトピックスを外部講師も招いて講義を行う。本講義は、応用動物科学専攻の大学院講義「動物科学トピックス」で開催される講義と「比較動物医科学大講座」に所属する教員が開催する以下の講義（金曜日3限、7号館106号室）、さらには不定期に開催する数回の講義により構成されます。
In the second year of the doctoral program, students take intensive courses on research and topics in basic veterinary medicine and animal science. Lectures on cutting-edge research results and topics in basic veterinary medicine and animal science will be given by invited outside lecturers as well. This course consists of lectures held in the graduate course “Topics in Animal Science” in the Department of Applied Animal Science, the following lectures held by faculty members belonging to the “Comparative Animal Medical Science Grand Lecture Series” (Friday, 3rd period, Room 106, Building 7), and several other lectures held irregularly.

授業の方法
・対面での講義を行う。
・獣医学専攻および応用動物科学専攻の兼担教員を中心とした持ち回りでの各専門分野の講義
・上記のコア講義以外にも不定期に追加講義を開催する場合がある（追加講義はその都度通知します）
・状況によってはハイブリッド方式もしくはオンライン方式になる可能性もあり、その際はあらためて周知します。
∙ Lectures will be given in person.
∙ Rotating lectures in each specialty area led by adjunct professors in the Department of Veterinary Medicine and the Department of Applied Animal Science.
∙ In addition to the above core lectures, additional lectures may be held on an irregular basis (additional lectures will be announced on a case-by-case basis).
∙ Depending on the situation, a hybrid or online format may be used, in which case we will notify you.
成績評価方法
各回を担当する教員が評価する（レポートやテストなど）。出席も勘案する。
The teacher in charge of each session will evaluate (reports, tests, etc.). Attendance will also be taken into consideration.
履修上の注意
上記のコア講義の出席は、7回以上を合格とする（レポートは 講義終了後2週間以内に担当教員宛に提出すること）。
Attendance in the above core lectures must be at least 7 times to pass the course (reports must be submitted to the instructor within 2 weeks of the end of the lecture).
