Writing a Research Proposal

Research Proposal
In this course, graduate students will learn how to design and plan their research through writing a research proposal. The goal of the course is to instill in students the importance of careful design and planning, and to begin writing (in the form of a research proposal) before undertaking an experiment rather than waiting until the experimental work is complete. This course also aims to foster greater independence in thinking and developing creative ideas. Finally, as English has become the de facto language of science, students will have opportunities to present and discuss their research in English.
