海洋生物資源の持続的利用や管理・保全には資試料の適切な解析が必要である．本講義では、水圏生態系および水圏生物の生態解明に用いられる解析法の理解と技術習得を目標とする．
In order to achieve sustainable use, management and conservation of marine living resources, appropriate analyses of data and samples are necessary. In this class, students learn various analytical methods and techniques that are used to understand aquatic ecosystem and ecology of organisms.

講義資料の配布は、UTOL を通して行います。
Lecture materials will be distributed through the UTOL.

Evaluation based on attendance and report assignments.
履修上の注意
・調査等で公欠扱いを希望する場合は事前に各講義の担当教員に連絡すること。
・講義によってパソコン（Excel, R, Python等）を用いた実習を行うことがある（各自で準備）。
・水圏生物に関する基礎的な知識および統計学の基礎的な知識を得ていることが推奨される。
・Absence due to field surveys may be permitted if students inform their absence to the lecturer of the corresponding turn in advance (report will be assigned) .
・Practical training using a personal computer (Excel, R, Python, etc.) may be conducted depending on the lecture (students must prepare for this on their own).
・Students are expected to have basic knowledge of aquatic ecology and statistics.
