This course combines lectures with practice-based activities. In Week 1, the class will be conducted in a lecture format introducing the structure of effective conference-style presentations, principles of slide design, and strategies for delivering clear and persuasive academic presentations in English.
From Week 2 onward, the course will primarily consist of small-group practice sessions. Students will prepare and practice presentations based on their own research topics. During these sessions, students will deliver presentation segments, participate in class discussions, and provide peer feedback.
Instructor feedback and peer evaluation will be used to help students improve their presentation content, slide design, and delivery skills. Through repeated practice and revision, students will gradually refine their presentations and develop confidence in presenting academic research in English.
