The purpose of this course is to help students develop advanced presentation skills in English. Through a combination of lectures and small-group practice sessions, students will learn how to design and deliver effective conference-style presentations.
After an introductory lecture on presentation strategies in Week 1, students will give two formal presentations of their own research during the semester—first in the earlier weeks, and again later in the course to demonstrate improvement. Feedback from both the instructor and classmates will support students in refining their presentation content, delivery, and visuals.
By the end of the course, students will have gained confidence and practical experience in presenting complex academic content clearly and persuasively to an academic audience.
