Ombibus lecture series on the topics relating to the management and policices for recent energy/resource technology

Students will study the core technologies of various energy sources essential to modern civilization. The course aims to foster an understanding of the characteristics of each source while deepening knowledge of social systems—such as energy consumption patterns and energy policy—and environmental issues.

The class will be in 2nd to 5th period of 23rd, 24th and 27th in July, The following topics will be covered; Fossil Fuels and Global Sustainable Energy Systems Photovoltaic Cells Nuclear Energy Wind Power Battery Methan Hydrate Water Electrolysis Bio Fuel and SAF Digital Technologies in Renewable Energy Circular Economy -- The following two lectures will be provided in Japanese. Therefore, students can choose either to attend the class or go through the handout and submit the reports. The details will be provided in the first class. 授業の方法

In principle, lectures will be conducted in person and will follow a traditional classroom format. There are few plans for group work or collaborative activities. If there is any change, it will be announced via UTOL or in class.

履修上の注意

No specific textbook is required; instructional materials will be distributed in class. Rather than prior preparation, students are encouraged to focus on post-lecture review, which can be effectively conducted in conjunction with the preparation of assigned reports.
