スピントロニクス

Spintronics
“Spintronics” is a field that aims to create future innovative electronics, information technology, and quantum information science and technology through the development of materials, devices, and systems that actively utilize not only the charge of electrons but also their spin degree of freedom.
With the rapid progress of recent research, spintronics is increasingly integrated with closely related fields such as quantum science and technology, thereby contributing to the development of new information technologies. A wide range of research and development activities, from fundamental studies to practical applications, are currently advancing.
This course is intended for beginners. It will introduce spintronics starting from the basics and extending to selected topics at the research frontier.
