Global Environmental and Energy Policy

Energy and resource are limited, and some global environmental crises are predicted by IPPC. This omnibus lecture series will explain why and how to make the policy for global environmental and energy issues, and what kinds of technologies are expected to solve them.

授業計画
Students will be able to get the following information systematically;
- Current topics concerning global environmental and energy issues,
- How to make the world and national policy,
- Environmental technologies and their role in the policy,
- Advanced environmental researches.
授業の方法
The first week in each of the four topics is a lecture from an expert in the field, and interactive learning, including quizzes, will help you understand what you are missing in your knowledge.
In the second week of each topic, you will be asked to give a presentation in groups of several people. Learn how difficult it is to build consensus in multinational and interdisciplinary groups, which is necessary to solve complex problems such as environmental and energy issues.
成績評価方法
