Course Title: Environmental Risk Managemant
You learn the fundamentals of environmental risk of chemicals, especially on ecological health. The course starts from the current regulatory science of the environmental water quality criteria on aquatic life conservation, which shows the necessity of learning the basic concept and methodology of the field of study. Then you learn the basics of toxicology and the current advance of methodology of ecotoxicity evaluation.

[IMPORTANT] This class is planned to open every year. If you are able to take this class next year, I recommend you to take it next year, not in this semester 2020. And a similar class in Japanese language will be open in winter semester 2020 (see the section 'Note'). I also recommend the winter-term class to those who understand Japanese language. If you need to take this class this year, please contact the instructor Fumiyuki Nakajima (*****) by 12 April. [IMPORTANT] This class is given online (Zoom) from 13 April. Access from the Online Class URL given in this cource registration system. The first class on 13 April is just for the introduction of class. The detailed information will be given in ITC-LMS and the students should download the course material prior to the class from the website in ITC-LMS. Because of this difficult situation and the limitation of time for the method transition from face-to-face to online, the course style must be shifted from full lecture/presentation with small quiz to many assignment with short Q/A time.
