社会基盤技術者のための国際英語IIE

For graduate students, the English classes focus on two key needs: communicating with foreign students in your labs and learning how to use English for your future business or academic career. Classes therefore aim to develop essential skills such as academic writing, giving effective presentations, academic discussions, and understanding people from different cultures. In addition, the courses aim to extend your English vocabulary and grammar so that you are able to communicate in a more precise and sophisticated manner. As in the undergraduate class, the emphasis is on successful, rather than ‘perfect’ English. The class will benefit you whether you are a lower level English speaker or a more advanced speaker. The number of students in each class is quite small (generally around 15 - 30), and lessons are for 105 minutes each week. We usually have some foreign students and students from other departments in the classes.
