Scientific Writing, Publication, and Communication
Research communication with the scientific community in English is essential for a scientific career, especially as research continues to become more global and team oriented. In this course, students will learn the major forms of scientific communication used by professional scientists, develop their abilities as confident, capable communicators, and understand how to publish in academic journals.

授業の方法
The course is organized into three modules: Oral Presentation, Manuscript Writing and Publication, and Public Communication. The teaching will include lectures, homework, and group or individual study.
成績評価方法
The evaluation will include class attendance and participation (1/3), an essay project including peer review of others’ papers (1/3), and a final examination (1/3). Further information on the essay project will be given in the second lecture.

May be assigned at instructor discretion.

*Only FoPM students can take this course.* ITC-LMS will be used for taking attendance and the essay project.

In case you will be unable to attend in-person classes for some reason such as a pre-existing condition, please explain your situation to your supervisor and a course instructor in advance.
