地球物理数学 Mathematical Methods in Geophysics
【授業内容】
学部で数理的手法を学ぶ機会が少なかった人を対象として、地球科学の諸現象・諸過程を記述する数学を理解するうえで必要な基礎的項目について解説する。
【授業細目】
１．ベクトルと行列
２．常微分方程式
３．ベクトルの微分とベクトル微分演算子
４．線積分と面積分
５．フーリエ級数とフーリエ積分
６．偏微分方程式
【Objective】
Fundamental mathematics needed for descriptions of various phenomena and processes in earth science is explained. This lecture is intended for graduate students who had few chances to take lectures for geophysical mathematics in undergraduate days.
【Contents】
1. Vector and matrix
2. Ordinary differential equation
3. Differential of vector and differential operator
4. Line integral and surface integral
5. Fourier series and Fourier integral
6. Partial differential equation

The lecture will start as follows,

Time: Second term (10:25-12:10)
Place: Earthquake Research Institute Building No.2 Lecture room (Annex. Second floor)
Although ERI newcomer guidance will be held on the same day (10:00-12:00),
you can watch a video of the guidance on April 10 and
recieve manuslas from the ERI office after the gudance.

なお、本講義は疾病対応を除き、基本的には対面講義のみです。
