地球物理数学 Mathematical Methods in Geophysics
【授業内容】
学部で数理的手法を学ぶ機会が少なかった人を対象として、地球科学の諸現象・諸過程を記述する数学を理解するうえで必要な基礎的項目について解説する。
【授業細目】
１．ベクトルと行列
２．常微分方程式
３．ベクトルの微分とベクトル微分演算子
４．線積分と面積分
５．フーリエ級数とフーリエ積分
６．偏微分方程式
【Objective】
Fundamental mathematics needed for descriptions of various phenomena and processes in earth science is explained. This lecture is intended for graduate students who had few chances to take lectures for geophysical mathematics in undergraduate days.
【Contents】
1. Vector and matrix
2. Ordinary differential equation
3. Differential of vector and differential operator
4. Line integral and surface integral
5. Fourier series and Fourier integral
6. Partial differential equation

4月19日10時25分より第一回講義を開催します。場所は地震研究所2号館2階講義室です。第一回講義資料をITC-LMSに掲載しましたので、事前にダウンロードしてください。
なお、本講義は疾病対応を除き、基本的には対面講義のみです。疾病(インフルエンザや新型コロナ)が理由でオンライン受講しなくてはいけない方はお知らせください。
The first lecture will be held on April 19 at 10:25. The location is the lecture room on the 2nd floor of the Earthquake Research Institute Bldg. 2. The materials for the first lecture have been posted on the ITC-LMS, please download it in advance.
The lectures are basically in-person lectures only, with the exception of the disease response. Please let us know if you need to attend online due to a disease (influenza or Covid-19).
