光赤外線天文学特論IV

This lecture covers two topics.
The first is infrared observation. I will explain the concepts and fundamental principles necessary for conducting infrared astronomy. The latest observational instruments and techniques will be also introduced.
The second topic is dust in the universe. I will he role of dust and explore the true nature of dust revealed by recent observation.

Classes will primarily be held in person. Some lectures may be delivered online. Lecture materials will be distributed via UTOL. Student program will be conducted during class hours

No special prior knowledge is required, but a basic understanding of astronomy is desirable.
