Understanding of Adaptation to Environmental Changes and Domestication of Organisms
Ancient human beings used to be a hunter-gatherer. Most food was obtained by collecting wild plants and hunting wild animals. During civilization we developed agricultural societies, which are heavily dependent on domesticated animals (livestocks) and plants (crops). We would like to see what happened in each organism during the "selection" procedure from the viewpoint of molecular biology.
Guidance held from 15:30 on June 3rd (Monday) at Room 126/127 of Bldg 16, Komaba I Campus.
Classes are tentatively scheduled on July 1st, 8th and 15th. The dates are subjected to change on requests of attendees.
