Theory of International Interdependence Ⅳ
Politics on International intervention
This course aims to understand current streams on international intervention. Against internationally recognized non-intervention principle, international intervention has been practiced for years. We mainly read journal articles on international intervention which include those on related topics such as responsibility to protect and humanitarian intervention, and case studies in several regions.

授業の方法
This course is based on a seminar style. Undergraduate students are required to make presentations, whereas graduate students would play as a discussant.
成績評価方法
Participation (30%), presentation/discussant (30%), final paper (40%)
In final papers, undergraduate students make an argument on the question presented and graduate students need to find a relevant question and make an argument. (undergraduate) and find a relevant question (graduate).

履修上の注意
Knowledge of international relations theory is desirable.
All students are required to read the assigned papers before each class.
The first class will be online.
